Terms of Use
Effective and last updated: 7 August 2026
These Terms form an agreement between you and Wular Ltd for your use of Dodo Track. Questions can be sent to contact@wular.us.
1. The Service and these Terms
Dodo Track is a record-keeping and family-collaboration service for adult parents and caregivers. It includes the mobile app, API, website, widgets, Apple Watch features, Siri Shortcuts, Amazon Alexa skill, optional AI keepsakes and related services (the "Service"). By creating or using a Dodo account, using the Service as a guest, buying Dodo Pro or accepting an invitation, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. App-store or platform terms may also apply. If a mandatory consumer law conflicts with these Terms, that law takes priority.
2. Adult use and authority
You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create or control a Dodo account. Dodo is not intended for use by a child independently.
You may add a child's information only if you have parental responsibility, appropriate permission from the person with that authority, or another lawful basis. You must also have authority to share that information with any caregiver you invite and with optional providers you choose to use, including AI or voice integrations. Do not use Dodo to monitor another person secretly or unlawfully.
3. Dodo is not medical care
Dodo helps adults record and review information. It is not a medical device, clinical record, diagnostic service, emergency monitor or substitute for a qualified health professional. Insights, trends, reminders, AI output and voice responses are general organisational information and may be incomplete, delayed or wrong.
Use your own judgment. Seek professional advice for health concerns and contact the appropriate emergency service in an emergency. Never delay care because of information in Dodo or because a notification, widget, AI feature or companion integration did not work.
4. Accounts, guests and security
- You may start with an anonymous Firebase guest identity. Guest data can be lost if you remove the app, clear device data or change devices before linking a sign-in method.
- You are responsible for keeping your device, sign-in method and invitations secure and for activity performed through your account, except where the law says otherwise.
- Provide accurate information and keep account details reasonably current. Do not impersonate another person or create an account for unlawful use.
- Tell us promptly at contact@wular.us if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Baby owners, caregivers and invitations
The person who creates a baby profile controls invitations and caregiver access for that profile. Approved caregivers may view shared records and memories and may add, change or delete information where the Service allows. Their actions can affect everyone sharing that baby.
Invite only trusted adults. Do not forward invitation codes or links to unintended recipients. An owner may remove access, but removal cannot make another person forget information already seen or delete copies they made outside Dodo. If an owner deletes their account, the owned baby profile and associated Dodo records may also be deleted for all caregivers. If a caregiver deletes their account, records created by that caregiver may be removed from shared babies.
6. Your content and permissions to operate Dodo
As between you and Wular, you retain ownership of the names, notes, records, photos, captions and other content you provide ("User Content"). You grant Wular a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, adapt, transmit and display User Content only as reasonably needed to:
- provide, sync, secure and support the Service;
- show it to caregivers you authorise;
- create exports, notifications, widgets and companion experiences you request;
- send selected content to a provider for an optional AI or voice feature you enable; and
- comply with law and enforce these Terms.
This licence ends when the content is deleted from the Service, subject to reasonable technical deletion cycles, provider records, legal obligations and copies another authorised user made outside Dodo.
You promise that you have the rights and authority needed to provide User Content and permit this use. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, or exposes a child or other person without appropriate authority.
7. Dodo Pro and store purchases
Dodo Pro is currently offered as a one-time lifetime in-app purchase. "Lifetime" means access for the supported lifetime of the Dodo Track product and the purchasing account; it does not promise that every present feature will remain unchanged forever. The applicable price and taxes are shown by Apple or Google before purchase.
Purchases are processed by the relevant app store and managed through RevenueCat. Store account, territory, billing, family-sharing, cancellation and refund rules may apply. Use Restore Purchase for an eligible prior transaction. Wular may correct entitlement errors, honour valid refunds or remove access associated with a refunded, reversed or fraudulent transaction. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory refund, cancellation or consumer rights.
8. AI features
AI captions and keepsakes are optional creative tools. If you request them, Dodo sends the context—and, for photo features, the selected photo—to Google AI/Gemini as described in the Privacy Policy. A photo may be automatically checked for suitability and scene characteristics before generation.
- AI output can be inaccurate, altered, incomplete or unexpected and may not faithfully represent a person, object or event.
- Review output before saving or sharing it. Do not rely on AI output for medical, safety, legal or identity decisions.
- Do not submit unlawful material or attempt to bypass safeguards, extract system instructions, interfere with providers or generate abusive or exploitative content.
- Wular may reject, limit or suspend AI requests to protect children, users, providers and the Service.
9. Voice, widgets and companion services
Siri, Apple Watch, widgets and Alexa are convenience features. Speech recognition, device availability, network access and third-party platforms can make them delayed or inaccurate. Confirm important entries in the Dodo app. Amazon and Apple process information under their own terms and privacy policies, and may change or discontinue their integrations.
Linking Alexa authorises the Dodo skill to access the linked account for supported logging and query commands. Anyone able to use the linked Alexa device may be able to invoke the skill. Disconnect Alexa in Dodo Settings when the device is shared with someone you do not trust or when you stop using the feature.
10. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully, to harm or exploit a child, or to violate privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property or other rights;
- seek unauthorised access to an account, baby profile, invitation, API, system or provider;
- probe, scan, reverse engineer or bypass security, rate limits, entitlement checks or technical restrictions, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- upload malware or harmful material, interfere with operation, or automate excessive requests;
- resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without Wular's written permission; or
- misrepresent AI output as an authentic unaltered photograph where that would deceive or harm someone.
11. Wular's software and intellectual property
The Service, including its software, designs, branding, text, curated insight material and non-user content, belongs to Wular or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these Terms, Wular gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app for non-commercial family-care purposes.
Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.
12. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Apple, Google/Firebase, Google AI/Gemini, Amazon Alexa, Expo, RevenueCat, Cloudflare and app stores. Their services and terms are outside Wular's control. Wular is not responsible for a third party's independent service, account decision or processing, but this does not remove Wular's responsibilities for providers acting on Wular's behalf under applicable law.
13. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Dodo available, but do not promise uninterrupted, permanent or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, network failures, store decisions and provider changes can interrupt features. We may add, remove or change features to improve Dodo, protect users, comply with law or respond to platform requirements.
If a change materially reduces a paid feature, we will take reasonable steps required by applicable consumer law. We will not revoke a valid Dodo Pro entitlement merely to charge again for the same lifetime product.
14. Suspension and ending use
You may stop using Dodo at any time and may delete your account in Settings or follow the account deletion instructions. Deletion consequences are described in the Privacy Policy and deletion page.
Wular may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to investigate serious misuse, protect a child or another person, secure the Service, comply with law or address a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will provide notice and an opportunity to contact us. Provisions that by their nature should continue—such as ownership, valid payment obligations, disclaimers and liability terms—survive termination.
15. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as available". Wular does not guarantee that Dodo will meet every requirement, preserve every guest record, deliver every notification, or produce accurate insight, AI or voice output. You remain responsible for maintaining any separate records needed for medical, legal or safeguarding purposes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes promises or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits exclusion.
Subject to that sentence and to mandatory consumer law, Wular is not responsible for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms, loss caused by your breach or by a third-party service outside Wular's reasonable control, or business loss arising from personal consumer use of Dodo. Any limitation is applied only to the maximum extent permitted by the law that applies to you.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Dodo, providers or law. We will post the revised Terms here and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable additional notice and, where law requires, ask for agreement before the change applies. Changes do not retroactively remove accrued consumer rights.
18. General
If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains effective. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your agreement or account to another person without Wular's permission; Wular may transfer the agreement as part of a reorganisation, merger or sale provided your rights are not materially reduced.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any purchase terms shown by the applicable store form the agreement about Dodo. Mandatory laws and courts available to consumers in their country of residence remain available regardless of these Terms.
